Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional in Maharashtra to lead design, implementation, and operation of cyber security solutions for industrial control and OT/IT environments.

You will engage in architecture design, risk assessments, and documentation, while collaborating across multiple projects and teams. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security projects or network administration projects.
• Knowledge in Instrumentation & Control Systems and Functions.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security standards: CRA, Regulation 2023/1230/EU – machinery, IEC62443, ISA99, NIST SP 800‑82.
• GICSP, CISSP or similar certification preferred.
• Application of cyber security controls in OT and deep IT knowledge.
• Network security controls knowledge: firewalls, routers, IDS.
• Cyber security policy and procedure development.
• Willingness to travel (10%) and excellent cross‑organisational collaboration.
• Enthusiasm for detail and successful implementation.
• Thinking out of the box. Driving technologies.

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical systems. Focus is on mathematical modelling of systems of a diverse nature, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create a controller that will cause the systems to behave in a desired manner. May specialize in the design, configuration, and automation of systems.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security projects or network administration projects.
• Knowledge in the field of Instrumentation & Control Systems and Functions, acknowledged by colleagues and other external experts in the field.
• Knowledge of national and international cyber security standards and regulations: Cyber: Resilience Act (CRA), Regulation 2023/1230/EU – machinery, IEC62443, ISA99, NIST SP 800‑82.
• GICSP, CISSP or similar certification preferred.
• Application of cyber security controls in Operations Technology (OT) and deep knowledge of IT.
• Network security controls knowledge: firewalls, routers, Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
• Cyber security policy and procedure development.
• Willingness to travel (10 %) and excellent skills to collaborate across the organization.
• Enthusiasm for detail and successful implementation.
• Thinking out of the box.
