Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an SAP FICO Application Analyst to join a team of IT professionals supporting finance and controlling processes across ERP systems. You will drive process standardization as part of the S/4HANA transformation and collaborate with IT solution providers on ECC6 systems to ensure stable operations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in FI/CO design, SAP knowledge, and strong English; willingness to travel 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of global governance and IT-enabled business processes.
• 5+ years of Finance (FI/CO) process design.
• Knowledge of SAP and S/4HANA Finance processes (AR/AP/GL/AA, COPA, Cost Center and Profit Center Controlling).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; German a plus.
• PM experience including scheduling, quality control and change communication.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.

• Provide global demand management, process consulting and ERP support.
• Partner with business contacts to create requirements and functional specs for SAP developments.
• Develop test cases and manage test activities.
• Perform IT Project Management duties for small-to-medium projects.
• Oversee IT providers for maintenance and change requests.
• Collaborate with Basis & Security teams and Service Desk.

Siemens Energy is seeking an SAP FICO Application Analyst to join a team of highly experienced IT professionals supporting the company’s ambition to shape the future of the energy market.

This role provides global consulting and governance for Controlling and Finance processes across Siemens Energy ERP systems. The position will add value by driving process standardization and harmonization as part of the S/4HANA transformation program.

In addition, the role will collaborate with IT solution providers across various ECC6 systems to ensure stable business operations and the appropriate handling of issues and change requests.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience in global governance, global demand management and business support for IT-integrated business processes.
• At least 5+ years of experience in business process design in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Knowledge of relevant SAP and S/4HANA Finance processes, including AR/AP/GL/AA, COPA, Cost Center and Profit Center Controlling.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in German language is a plus.
• Project management experience, including scheduling, quality control and change communication.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.
• Implementation experience with a multinational company is preferred.
