Job summary

ACL Digital in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced VLSI design engineer to lead analog and mixed-signal block development and full chip integration, with hands-on layout involvement.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience, BE/MTech in Electronics or VLSI, and strong knowledge of LVS/DRC/DFM, Cadence VLE/VXL, and Mentor Caliber. Experience with TSMC nodes and independent work is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE or MTech in Electronics or VLSI Engineering.
• Experience with TSMC 16/12/7/5/3nm and below; 5nm/3nm preferred.
• Expertise in LVS/DRC/DFM and antenna checks.
• Design and development of analog and mixed-signal blocks with full-chip integration.
• Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of critical analog, mixed-signal, and full chip level integration.
• Verification flows including LVS/DRC/DFM/Antenna/EMIR checks.
• Ensure on-time delivery of block-level layouts of acceptable quality.
• Proficient use of Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Caliber DRC/LVS.
• Work independently and communicate effectively with teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 1. TSMC 16/12nm,7nm,5nm,3nm and below (other foundries are also fine like Intel, Samsung, GF). Preferably TSMC 5nm/3nm experience.
• 2. Responsible for Design and development of critical analog, mixed-signal, custom digital block and full chip level integration support.
• 3. Verification flows - LVS/DRC/DFM/Antenna check/EMIR experience.
• 4. Responsible for on-time delivery of block-level layouts of acceptable quality.
• 5. Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Caliber DRC/LVS is a must.
• 6. BE or MTech in Electronics/VLSI Engineering
• 7. Good communications skills as we work with cross-functional teams.
• 9. TM should work independently.
• 10. 4 to 8 years of experience flexible
• 11. If a candidate has HBM experience, it is an added advantage. Analog blocks like Regulators/Charge pumps/Power Management etc.
