Job summary

Jobitus in Mumbai is seeking an AMC Manager to handle customer relationships, AMC sales and renewals for HVAC services. You will identify potential customers, contact existing and expired AMC customers, prepare quotations, and convert them into active AMC contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in AMC/Service sales or CRM.

Responsibilities

• Identify existing and potential customers for AMC sales and renewals.
• Contact customers for renewals and new AMC opportunities, explain plans.
• Prepare, send and revise quotations, follow up until closure.
• Follow up before expiry to ensure timely renewal and coordinate with services.
• Coordinate with customers post-quotation for payment and activation of orders.
• Maintain records of active, expired and potential customers and track renewals.
• Coordinate with service, accounts and admin teams to fulfill AMC activities.

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for an AMC Manager to manage customer relationships, AMC sales and renewals for HVAC/air-conditioning services. The role involves identifying potential customers, contacting existing and expired AMC customers, preparing quotations, following up with customers, and converting them into active AMC contracts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Identification & Lead Management

• Identify existing and potential customers for new AMC purchases and renewals.
• Follow up with customers whose product warranty or AMC is nearing expiry.
• Identify one-time service and on-call customers who can be converted into AMC customers.
• Maintain and track customer, warranty and AMC-related information.

2. Customer Handling & AMC Sales

• Contact customers for AMC renewal and new AMC opportunities.
• Explain AMC plans, coverage, benefits, pricing and terms to customers.
• Handle customer queries and provide suitable AMC options.
• Follow up with customers to convert potential leads into AMC contracts.

3. Quotation Management

• Select the appropriate AMC plan based on customer requirements.
• Prepare and send AMC quotations to customers.
• Revise quotations based on customer requirements and resend them for approval.
• Follow up on pending quotations until closure.

4. AMC Renewal & Expiry Follow-up

• Contact customers before AMC/warranty expiry to ensure timely renewal.
• Follow up with customers whose AMC has expired.
• Coordinate pending services, wherever applicable.
• Communicate the benefits of renewing the AMC and encourage customers to continue the service.

5. Order & Payment Coordination

• Coordinate with customers after quotation approval.
• Follow up for payment against approved quotations.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team for payment verification.
• Ensure approved AMC orders are activated after payment confirmation.

6. Customer & AMC Management

• Maintain records of active, expired, potential and not-interested customers.
• Track upcoming AMC renewals and pending quotations/payments.
• Manage customer warranty, AMC and service-related details.
• Support conversion of eligible warranty and service customers into AMC customers.

7. Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with service/technical teams regarding customer requirements and pending services.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Admin teams for payment and approval-related activities.
• Maintain proper records and follow up on AMC activities until closure.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in AMC Sales, Service Sales, After-Sales, Business Development or Customer Relationship Management.
• Candidates from the HVAC, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Facility Management, MEP or Engineering Services industry will be preferred.
• Experience in selling or renewing maintenance/service contracts will be an advantage.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Comfortable with customer follow-ups, quotations and negotiations.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of HVAC/service-related products will be preferred.
• Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
