Job summary

Golden Opportunities in Bengaluru is seeking a Project Control professional with 3+ years of experience to manage planning, scheduling, and cost estimation for power transmission projects. You will develop detailed schedules, establish baselines, and monitor progress against baselines to support timely execution.

Responsibilities include creating WBS, using Primavera P6 or MS Project, tracking variances, preparing cost forecasts and cash flows, and delivering regular reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project controls for power transmission and distribution.
• B.E/B.Tech degree in engineering is required.
• Distance education is not accepted.
• Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate for this role.

Position Overview

• The Project Control professional will be responsible for managing and monitoring project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, budgeting, and overall project performance.
• The role involves developing project plans and schedules, tracking progress against approved baselines, monitoring costs, identifying variances, and providing timely reports and forecasts to support effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Establish project baselines for schedule, cost, and resources.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
• Identify schedule delays, critical activities, and potential risks affecting project timelines.
• Prepare recovery plans and recommend corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, BOQs, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor project expenditure and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct cost variance and schedule variance analysis.
• Prepare cash flow projections and monitor project financial performance.
