Job summary

Accenture PLC in Bengaluru seeks a Capital Projects Senior Analyst to oversee planning and control for power generation, transmission and distribution projects. The role emphasizes IMS creation, schedule baselining, and performance reporting across stakeholders.

You will apply Primavera P6 and MS Project to manage complex schedules, develop EVM metrics, and partner with engineering teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery within utility standards.

Qualifications

• BE degree required.
• 5–8 years of experience in power utility, EPC, transmission & distribution, and generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define activities, logic links, milestones and dependencies.
• Establish project baselines and manage schedule updates, revisions and baselining processes.
• Monitor project progress, critical path activities and milestone achievement.
• Conduct schedule health checks and variance/delay analyses with recovery planning.
• Support resource loading, forecasting and productivity monitoring.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/executive performance reports and dashboards.
• Develop and analyse EVM metrics (CPI and SPI).
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and stakeholders for inputs.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints and opportunities; recommend mitigations.
• Support governance reviews, stage gates and change control processes.
• Maintain project controls documentation, procedures and planning standards.
