Job summary

Accenture PLC in Bengaluru seeks a Capital Project Management Associate Manager to oversee planning, risk assessment, cost control, and scheduling for power generation, transmission and distribution projects.

You will develop IMS schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, create WBS, establish baselines, monitor progress, perform variance analysis, and prepare performance reports. BE required; EPC and utility project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in power utility, EPC, transmission & distribution, and generation projects.
• Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and cost management systems.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based cost models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules IMS using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures WBS and define project activities, logic links, milestones and dependencies.
• Establish baselines and manage schedule updates, revisions and rebaselining processes.
• Monitor progress, critical path activities and milestone achievement.
• Conduct schedule health checks, variance analysis and recovery planning.
• Support resource loading, forecasting and productivity monitoring.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and executive project performance reports and dashboards.
• Develop and analyse S curves, Earned Value Management EVM metrics CPI and SPI.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and stakeholders for inputs.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints and opportunities; recommend mitigations.
• Support governance reviews, stage-gate approvals and change control processes.
• Maintain project controls documentation, planning procedures and standards.
