Job summary

Emcure is seeking an AM/Manager for the Engineering API department in Maharashtra. The role focuses on maintenance of the API plant, ensuring PM records and qualification documents are properly maintained, and timely reporting of equipment abnormalities.

Shifts are required to ensure smooth operation of the API facilities. Candidates should have 8–13 years of experience in pharmaceutical API mechanical maintenance, with exposure to qualification activities (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) and strong

• Qualification: BE Mechanical or DME as stated in the ad.
• Experience: 8–13 years in the API/mechanical maintenance domain.
• Pharma API maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PM records and maintenance documentation are properly maintained.
• Report abnormalities or breakdowns to the reporting manager promptly.
• Sign daily log books and qualification documents.
• Prepare equipment failure sheets and investigate root causes.
• Maintain regulatory-compliant engineering docs and support audits.

Job description

Position: AM/ Manager

Qualification: BE Mechanical / DME

Experience: 8-13 Years

Dept: Engineering API

Responsibility : Maintenance of API plant .

Experience in API maintenance dept.

1. 1. To ensure all PM records, routine maintenance records, equipment history cards and qualification documents maintained properly.
2. 2. To report the reporting manager timely for any abnormality of equipment's or any breakdown.
3. 3.To sign daily log books, PM records, qualification documents.
4. 4. To fill equipment failure sheets as per requirement and investigation of failure for root cause.
5. 5.To prepare and review the documents like qualifications, URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, & validations.
6. 6.Maintain Engineering documentation /Layouts as per regulatory requirements, SOP, Legal compliance, internal and external audits compliance, participate in closing required QMS , incident/change control / CAPA / Deviation / investigation and analysis.
7. 7. Responsible for vendor development, spare management and manpower planning.
8. 8.To maintain the required consumables, inventory and issuance of material.
9. 9.Responsible for the planning , execution of the brown filed and greenfield projects as per the facility and plant requirements.
10. 10.Ensure to handover the shift activities to next shift engineer
11. 11.To carry out all mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance activities, local modification jobs, minor and major breakdowns of all plants, operation and maintenance of utility.
