Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a logistics coordinator to oversee transport planning and fleet management in Haryana. You will coordinate with logistics service providers, resolve dispatch queries, and manage freight revisions related to fuel and toll changes.

The role requires strong communication, ERP knowledge, and safety/compliance awareness. You will work with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure timely and compliant dispatch operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP systems and their practical application in logistics.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and present insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety at the workplace and PF/ESI compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport planning operations and monitor daily activities.
• Coordinate with logistics service providers to maintain fleet on a daily basis.
• Co-ordinate with stakeholders for irregular and interplant movements across MSIL dept.
• Query resolution of ROs and ZOs for dispatches.
• Freight revision on account of diesel and toll changes monthly/quarterly.
• Performance management of all LSPs for on-time and damage metrics.
• Inspection of new fleet in MSIL system per CMVR rules.
• Coordinate with government agencies.
• Vendor payments related to irregular movements.
• Freight management through zero-based costing or RFQs.
• Monitor trips via GPS and manage GPS devices and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and monitoring of transport planning operations
• Coordination with logistics service providers to maintain adequete fleet on daily basis
• Co-ordination with all stake holders for irregular and interplant movements across MSIL dept.
• Query Resolution of ROs and ZOs for dispatches.
• Freight Revision on account of Diesel and Toll changes on monthly and Quarterly basis
• Performance Management of all LSP's for various performance parameters like Ontime, Damages etc.
• Inspection of New Fleet in MSIL system inline with CMVR rules and regulations
• Coordination with Government agencies
• Vendor Payments related to irregular movements
• Freight Management through Zero Based Costing and/or RFQs
• Monitoring trips through GPS, management of GPS devices along with the device requirements

Qualifications
