Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (Automotive and Farm Equipment) seeks a quality engineer to drive supplier quality programs. You will review designs, coordinate AQP with suppliers, and ensure that parts meet OEM specifications from development through production.

The role requires hands-on experience with PPAP, 4M, and ISO TS 16949 processes, plus strong collaboration with R&D and supply chains to enable first-time-right outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Engineering with mechanical specialization.
• 5–7 years of experience in engineering quality or related QA roles.
• Experience with ISO TS 16949/IATF quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design reviews based on Engg. requirements.
• Drawings and ensure AQP with suppliers for OEM specs and standards.
• Drive new part development to meet quality specs.
• Quality assurance in new development of parts and sample formations.
• Carry out PPAP, initiate and validate 4M conditions.
• Ensure first time right and sign-offs the quality agreements with PSW.
• Lead supplier process validation and control plan audits at supplier end.
• Collaborate with R&D, suppliers and supply chains.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Conduct design reviews basis Engg.
• Drawings and Ensure AQP (Advance Quality planning) with the Suppliers for clear understanding of OEM requirements and specs/ Standards.
• Drive New Part development to ensure that Part Quality meet the Desired spec and Standard.
• Quality assurance in new development of parts / FTR Sample formations from Day 1.
• Process Discipline and sign offs for ETR supplies.
• Carry out PPAP, Initiate and validate the 4M conditions.
• Ensure First TIme right and Every thing right Process outcomes / Sign Offs the Quality agreements along with PSW (Part submission Warrants.
• Carry out Supplier Process Validation / Sustenance Audit through Control plan audit at Supplier end.Work with R and D, Supplier and Supply Chains / Development teams.
• Assist the supplier process to enhance the Manufacturing / Technology Capability, Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and corrective action implementation against anomalies.
• Drive Improvement related activities, Kaizen, Yellow belts, Green belts, QMS activities The Mahindra ways (TMW) and AFS
