Job summary

Nidec India Private Limited, Neemrana plant, is seeking an experienced AM/DM - Project Management in the Purchases department. The role focuses on program management with costing for current and new projects, including planning, resource allocation, and coordinating with global teams.

Ideal candidates have a B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical and 8–12 years of project management experience, with strong MS Project skills and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in project management.
• Exposure to APQP/PPAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out program management activities with costing for current and new projects.
• Plan project timelines and allocate resources.
• Lead project team and coordinate with support staff.
• Manage on-time delivery and target achievement.
• Guide cross-functional teams to resolve hurdles.
• Develop project plans, objectives, and resource needs.
• Present status to top management at PMC milestones.
• Coordinate with global teams for tracking and issue resolution.

Role & responsibilities

To carry out Program Management activities with Costing calculation for Current & New Projects.

Project planning, Resource & Time planning

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• 1. Preparation of Project Costing (BOM, Machine, Depreciation etc.)


• 2. Preparation, updation of CAA (Cost Analysis) of Current & New Projects


• 3. Functional Leader of Project (Can Handle 1+2 project at a time with subordinate's support)


• 4. Responsible to manage Project team to achieve target


• 5. CFT Leader to ensure project team works to achieve target & support them to overcome hurdles


• 6. Develop project plans, define objectives, allocate resources, set timelines, and monitor progress


• 7. Present the status to top management during PMC at the end of each project phase.


• 8. Coordination with global team for project tracking & issues discussion

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) required to successfully perform the job:

Knowledge: Knowledge of Project Planning, APQP
