Job summary

NIDEC INDIA PVT LTD. Neemrana is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in SQA to lead supplier QA for the EV and home appliance sectors. You will audit supplier systems and processes, drive corrective actions, and coordinate APQP/PPAP activities to ensure quality at source.

The role requires deep knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 9001/14001/45001, and hands-on GD&T/CP capability, with travel to supplier sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Machining, Moulding, Pressing, etc.).
• Knowledge of APQP & PPAP.
• Knowledge of Process Capabilities and GD&T reading.

Responsibilities

• Audit supplier systems, processes and environment.
• Address regular quality issues with suppliers.
• Receive corrective actions from suppliers.
• Drive supplier improvement activities.
• Perform QA during APQP for new projects.
• Monitor and improve supplier quality ratings.

Summary of Job Profile/ Purpose of the position:

To carry outsupplier quality assuranceactivities for E-Bike business unit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• To conduct system, process & environmental audits at supplier end.
• To independently deal regular quality issues with supplier.
• To receive corrective actions from suppliers.
• Responsible for supplier improvement activities.
• To perform QA activities during APQP for new projects.
• Responsible to monitor and improve supplier quality rating.
• To conduct supplier motivation activities as per company rules.
• To conduct PPAP Audit independently at supplier

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) required to successfully perform the job:

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standard requirements.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Machining, Plastic Moulding, Pressing, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, wire harness assembly, Welding , Casting etc.)
• Knowledge of APQP & PPAP.
• Knowledge of Process Capabilities and should be able to read drawing completely including GD&T
