Job description

Responsibilities

• Model ownership for end-to-end development activities confirmation and final reporting.
• Knowledge of Automotive project management from concepts through to production, ensuring alignment with key milestones & deliverables.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, development, supply chain & manufacturing.
• Knowledge of component level basic design principals, drawings, production & vendor processes.
• Collaborate closely with the concerned agencies for monitoring of development check points, issues, and resolution to ensure the project development timelines.
• Co-ordination for all stakeholders across value chain for confirmation of readiness of respective areas.
• Analyse and troubleshooting of issues in collaboration with engineers from design, manufacturing, and part quality for achieving the milestones. It may require hands-on experience on the ground.
• Good knowledge & experience in new technologies such as EV/ xHEV/ ADAS / CSSU.
• Lead continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency & ways of working.
• Participate actively in design reviews, validation processes, and testing activities to ensure the successful implementation of quality targets and customer requirements.

Competency Requirement

• Readiness to frequent travels to different manufacturing and engineering facilities.
• Good organizational skills, analytical competency to make sound decision and judgment, self‑initiative and motivation, high flexibility, and ability to work in a team.
• Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and design validation processes.
• Experience with Project Management, Project Planning & Control and effective & timely implementation of actions with focus of ‘First Time Right Approach’.
• Excellent communication skills (language: English and Hindi) to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey the requirements effectively. Knowledge of Japanese language will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and Project Management tools. Python/Power BI/Automate is added advantage.
• Digital tools (Power BI, Advance Excel etc) / Data Analytics / Telematics data analysis knowledge are an added advantage.
• Good automobile driving experience and familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, vehicle data acquisition, test, and analysis techniques will be an added advantage.
