Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services seeks an experienced program leader for automotive product development, handling cockpit electronics, infotainment, and domain controllers. You will drive integrated plans, manage readiness reviews, and coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure robust design and validation across hardware, software, and cybersecurity domains.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, or related field.
• 12–14 years in automotive product development with cross-functional leadership.
• Domain expertise in cockpit electronics, infotainment, domain controllers, displays, clusters, connectivity, camera-based products.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, functional safety, cybersecurity, DFMEA, ASPICE compliance.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, PLM, requirements-management platforms, and defect-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated technical development plans, engineering work packages, milestones, and readiness reviews.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements are analyzed, allocated, traced, implemented, and validated across system, hardware, software, mechanical, safety, and cybersecurity domains.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; lead DFMEA, problem-solving, and change management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers for design-for-manufacturing, prototype builds, launch readiness, and serial-life support.
• Monitor engineering budgets, resource needs, and technical dashboards for scope, test progress, defects, risks, and cost variance.
