Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in underwriting.
• Experience with Property, Marine, and Liability insurance products.
• Ability to assist clients with claims and coverage.
• Maintaining TATs for policy issuance and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Procure competitive terms from insurers.
• Assist clients in decision making regarding insurer selection.
• Maintain TATs for policy issuance and claims processing.
• Maintaining TATs for policy issuance and endorsements.
• Assisting claims team with data, reports and documentation from clients.
• Detailed knowledge of Property, Marine, Liability, engineering products for guiding clients with right information and coverage.
• Monitoring renewal of policies on monthly basis. Quoting for renewal business after studying the portfolio performance on monthly basis.
• Vetting policy copies, endorsements and other documents before sending to clients.
• Reviewing terms & conditions of the policy and getting the policy appropriately endorsed for deviations if any not captured in the policy.
• Maintaining TAT of claims process which includes timely reporting to insurers, deputing the surveyor, facilitating clients to prepare necessary documents and timely submission to surveyor.
