Job summary

Waaree Energies is seeking a skilled Fixed Assets Accountant in Mumbai to manage end-to-end FAR, capitalization, depreciation, and asset verifications. You will coordinate tagging, ensure compliance with Companies Act and IT Act, and support audit schedules.

The role requires 5–8 years in fixed assets, experience with SAP asset module, and strong documentation practices to ensure accurate capitalization of project costs.

Qualifications

• CA/ M.Com / CA Inter qualification.
• 5-8 years experience in fixed assets accounting.
• Knowledge of capitalization & depreciation.
• Experience in SAP asset module.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset records.
• Register FAR end-to-end.
• Capitalize assets with proper documentation.
• Track CWIP and review capitalization.
• Coordinate asset tagging and physical verification.
• Calculate depreciation per Companies Act and IT Act.
• Handle asset disposal, sale, and write-off accounting.
• Reconcile FAR with GL.
• Support fixed asset audit schedules.
• Track capex against approved budgets.
• Ensure capitalization of project costs.
