Allot is seeking an Assistant Controller in Mumbai to uphold US GAAP across month-end and year-end closes, manage US tax compliance, and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications

• CPA from a Big 4 internship preferred.
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience auditing global companies.
• Experience as controller/assistant in global hi-tech companies an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• Independent, detail oriented, a team player, a great multitasker.
• Willingness to commit to the job and for long hours when needed.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee US taxation requirements, including the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and managing local compliance to mitigate fiscal risk.
• Strengthen internal financial controls by implementing robust accounting policies and procedures that safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate seamless annual audits and tax examinations.
• Analyze financial statements and variance reports to provide management with clear visibility into operational performance and budget adherence.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance to ensure operational accuracy.
