Caprus IT Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial management for US entities in IT services and retail, operating to US business hours.

You will oversee accounting operations, close processes, and provide strategic financial insights to senior management. You will manage intercompany accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and controls across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting with leadership in operations.
• Experience managing US-based entities, across multiple operations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven experience with month-end, year-end closings, GL, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and variance analysis.
• Understanding of internal controls, audits, taxation and compliance.
• Experience handling intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial management of US entities in IT services and retail.

• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, and analyses.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller willing to work in the US time zone / US business hours to lead and oversee the financial management and accounting operations of US entities engaged primarily in IT services and retail operations. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, audits, and providing financial insights to senior management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the financial management of US entities engaged in IT services and retail operations.
• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations across multiple US entities.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and variance analysis.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with significant experience managing financial operations.
• Experience managing US-based entities, preferably across multiple business operations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong experience in month-end/year-end closing, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audits, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
• Prior experience in IT services, retail, or other multi-entity US operations.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
