Job description

Role Overview

We are hiring an Air Import Operations Executive to manage end-to-end air import shipments at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). The candidate will handle all aspects of air import from AWB tracking and airline coordination to customs filing and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air import operations from AWB receipt to final delivery to consignee.
• Coordinate with airlines (IndiGo, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Turkish Airlines etc.) and ground handling agents at BLR Airport.
• Handle pre-alert documentation from overseas agents and prepare arrival notices for clients.
• File Bills of Entry (BoE) on ICEGATE for customs clearance of air import shipments.
• Liaise with Customs officers for assessment, examination and out-of-charge of consignments.
• Coordinate with freight stations (CSIA/BLR cargo), airlines and transporters for cargo release.
• Handle all import documentation AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Permits, NOC and other regulatory documents.
• Manage DG (Dangerous Goods) and temperature-sensitive import cargo as per IATA norms.
• Track shipments, provide status updates to clients and resolve delays proactively.
• Maintain shipment files, MIS reports and billing records accurately.
