Job summary

Delmos Aviation in India is seeking a cargo operations supervisor to manage end-to-end cargo processes, including receiving, storage, and dispatch, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will ensure accurate documentation such as airway bills, bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance forms, coordinate with airlines and transport providers, and monitor import/export activities for compliance.

• Manage end-to-end cargo operations including receiving, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure accurate documentation such as airway bills, bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance forms.
• Coordinate with airlines, and transport companies for cargo movement.
• Monitor import and export cargo activities, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Maintain proper records of shipments, tracking, and reporting to clients.
• Liaise with customs authorities and ensure timely clearance of shipments.
• Handle cargo safety, damage control, and insurance claims if required.
• Optimize operational processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Provide support to the sales/marketing team in cargo rate negotiation and client servicing.
• Supervise cargo staff, loaders, and warehouse teams as required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security during cargo handling.
