Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Scrum Master in Bengaluru, India to facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement within value streams. The role requires strong grounding in Agile, Scrum, Lean, and Value Stream Management to enable predictable delivery and maximize business value.

The Scrum Master will partner with Product Owners, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to remove impediments, track key metrics, and drive flow

Qualifications

• Experience as Scrum Master facilitating Agile delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum practices, Lean methodologies, and Value Stream Management.
• Ability to enable predictable delivery, improve team effectiveness, and maximize business value.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
• Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile values, and best practices.
• Ensure consistent application of Agile frameworks and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and resolve issues that impact team productivity and delivery commitments.
• Monitor sprint progress, velocity, capacity planning, and delivery metrics.
• Support end-to-end Value Stream delivery by identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Delivery Teams to improve flow efficiency and reduce lead time.
• Track and analyze flow metrics, cycle time, throughput, and work-in-progress (WIP).
• Facilitate alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes across value streams.
• Drive initiatives focused on enhancing customer value realization and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership.
• Provide visibility into delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment
