Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master to help support our Banking Team in its continued transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, goals and deliverables of the Project.
• Effectively communicate project requirements to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion by identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
• Help stakeholders to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Monitor, track and provide outward communication for improved transparency on teams progress against their delivery goals for product releases.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Drive and lead the scrum activities for the scrum teams within the ongoing sprints.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Implement process improvements inside teams.
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team.

Mandatory Skills

• Overall Experience of 8+ years along with at least 3+ years of experience as Scrum Master in Banking Domain
• Good understanding of SDLC preferably who has worked in technical role(BA,Dev,Tester) in previous projects with strong time, cost and value management
• Experience in using Jira and other Agile development tools
• Experienced in working with globally spread cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Experience in managing onshore/offshore teams and able to resolve any roadblocks and work or team conflicts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understand the fundamentals of iterative development
• Understand the fundamentals of software development and processes
• Understand incremental deliveries and value of metrics, schedules,capacity and milestone tracking
• Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity and task definition
• Familiar with common agile practices, service-oriented environments
