Job summary

Teqnifi is seeking a Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager in Bengaluru to lead Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile values, and ensure process integrity. You will shield the team from interference, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with product and QA stakeholders to meet commitments.

The role requires strong facilitation, communication skills, and hands-on experience with Jira/Confluence in an international, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies and enterprise-scale Agile.
• Certification(s) in Agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide servant leadership and shield the team from external interference.
• Mentor teams on Agile values and processes; monitor team performance and continuous improvement.

Scrum Master/ Agile Project Manager

How You will Contribute:

The Scrum Master/QA:- 20%

• Understand the general principles of Agile Framework and be fully aligned to those principles
• Uphold the framework and integrity of Agile Scrum practices
• Mentor and coach the teams on Agile methodology and Scrum values and process
• Provide servant leadership, and ensure accountability
• Shield the team from external interference to avoid distractions from meeting commitments
• Lead the team to reflect and retrospect to improve the process continuously, thus enabling long‑term productivity and quality
• Monitor the effectiveness of Scrum team processes and performance, and collaborate with the teams on changes and improvements
• Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Quality Assurance: 50%

• Help the test efforts of the QA team by being a contributor to the testing efforts.
• Help with test cases, test plans, releases, smoke testing, performance and regression testing.
• Manual testing experience in testing for Web Application,
• API testing experience - POSTMAN.
• Together with the software team, develop a testing strategy for testing during the developmental phase.
• Develop the verification and validation strategy/plan that meets the SDLC requirements within the project timeline and resource constraints
• Develop software test cases to verify the software requirements.
• Execute functional and non‑functional testing which involves accuracy, reliability, performance.
• Together with the software team, develop a testing strategy for testing during the developmental phase.

Business Analyst: 30%

Help with requirements gathering and coordinating discussions with the SMEs.

Helping with creating clear and concise requirements units for the development team.

Create artifacts, design documents, specs documents, flowcharts, wireframes, where applicable.

Lead current state assessments to identify high level customer requirements.

• To analyze, document and ensure the client requirements
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analyze, stakeholders mapping
• Analyze and document business requirements and translate these to functional specification and design and map these to technology

Skills/ Qualifications:

The Scrum Master should have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant Information Technology experience
• Prior experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies and Agile at enterprise scale
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
• Certification(s) in Agile methodologies is a plus
• Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience in using JIRA, Confluence
• Enjoys being part of an international team. Fluent English required.
