Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master with strong Agile experience.
• Proven ability to guide teams in Scrum ceremonies and ceremonies cadence.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices to delight customers.
• Promote self-organization and fill gaps in the Scrum framework.

POSITION SUMMARY

The PM Scrum Master facilitates scrum teams to ensure that they deliver project objectives. The Scrum Master ensures that scrum processes are followed by team from inception till closure of project, ensures smooth development, ensures necessary tools are provided, oversees sprint planning/meetings, provides value justification of the project, facilitates risk management & helps resolve impediments.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
• Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel.
• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Must be able to communicate well with teams
• Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
• Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.
• Facilitates multiple Scrum Teams, ensuring timely delivery with quality to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with other management, developers, product managers and technical support specialists on product issues.
• Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
• Make sure that team is following agile/scrum in each sprint at user story level as per the Definition of Done (DOD).
