Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance in Kolkata is seeking an Agency Manager with 1-4 years of experience to lead front line sales and manage a network of agents. The role focuses on identifying potential candidates, enrolling agents, and activating certified agents through timely premium mobilization.

You will ensure agents are familiar with the company’s products, policies, and sales processes, and you will target premium goals across various business classes while minimizing dormancy and driving

Qualifications

• Identify and motivate potential candidates to enroll for becoming agents
• Activate certified agents through mobilization of minimum premium in stipulated time
• Ensure familiarization of the company’s products, policies and sales processes to the agents
• Identify, communicate and agree on the premium targets with agents on various class of business &
• Ensure lower dormancy ratio of active vs total agents.
• Maximize mobilisation through regular follow-ups & strengthening of relationships with agents
• Ensure constant updating of agent’s knowledge on new products and underwriting policies
• Troubleshooting with a) Underwriting team for policy approval b) Branch operations team for policy issuance
• c) claims team for claims settlement d) Finance team for timely disbursement of agent’s commission
