PwC India’s Acceleration Center in Hyderabad seeks a Guidewire Senior Developer - BillingCenter Associate. You will contribute to design, build, and production support of BillingCenter solutions within Advisory, gaining exposure across geographies and client challenges.

You’ll learn while delivering tasks, participating in integration efforts, and applying DevOps practices to keep systems reliable and scalable. English proficiency required, 1–3 years of Guidewire experience is ideal.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of Guidewire experience.
• Deep experience in BillingCenter and working knowledge on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and ContactManager.
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services.
• Good Knowledge on XML & JSON formats and ANT, MAVEN, Gradle scripts.
• Experience using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman and working with code repositories such as SVN & GIT.
• Understanding of devops and build/deployment processes.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting BillingCenter configuration tasks across insurance application enhancement and support work.
• Participating in software development activities for BillingCenter functionality, including defect analysis, code updates, and feature adjustments.
• Collaborating on Guidewire integrations and system development efforts that connect BillingCenter with surrounding applications.
• Reviewing technical requirements and translating them into workable configuration and development tasks.
• Assisting with problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for deployed Guidewire solutions.
• Using software development methodology and digital tooling to complete assigned work and track progress.
• Contributing to testing activities, documentation updates, and release readiness for BillingCenter changes.
• Applying AI fluency and AI-human collaboration concepts to streamline repetitive development and support tasks.

As a Guidewire Senior Developer - BillingCenter Associate you will support the design, build, enhancement, and production support of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions within our Advisory practice. As an Associate you will focus on learning while contributing to project tasks, developing technical skills, working through changing priorities, and applying curiosity, adaptability, and reliability to deliver quality work. In this role at PwC, you will help implement and optimize insurance software solutions, participate in integration and maintenance activities, troubleshoot issues, and support system improvements that help clients operate more effectively.

What You Must Have

• Deep experience in BillingCenter and working knowledge on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and ContactManager;
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services;
• Good Knowledge on XML & JSON formats and ANT, MAVEN, Gradle scripts;
• Experience using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman and working with code repositories such as SVN & GIT;
• Understanding of devops and build/deployment processes.
• At least a Bachelors degree
• At least 1-3 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Demonstrates abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and solutioning the Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing all aspects of complex engagements within the Guidewire product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the following:
• Demonstrates abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Senior Guidewire Developer Developer. Employees in the Senior Developer position should think of themselves and be regarded by the client as a trusted advisor and think strategically about how to create value using the Guidewire Suite of products;
• Demonstrates abilities delivering Guidewire application solutions as it will be critical that consultant in this position are capable of navigating both business processes as well as enterprise solution perspectives at high level and holistic view;
• Demonstrates abilities developing a scalable and robust Guidewire Solution Strategies in a hybrid IT landscape (on premises and Cloud);
• Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success in developing independently new market-differentiated Guidewire solutions and supporting proposal development efforts; Senior Developer in these positions should be capable of delivering Advisory-level work and be able to discuss future enhancements in Guidewire roadmap discussions with the client;
• With a focus on AES, demonstrates expert abilities assisting clients in the support of Guidewire Suite solutions and improving business processes; and taking a proactive approach to quality;
• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
