Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is hiring for a Senior Guidewire Developer to join a dynamic global delivery team. You will work on BillingCenter configurations, integrate with PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/ContactManager, and contribute to AI-driven optimization in a hybrid IT landscape.

The role emphasizes hands-on BillingCenter development, governance of code and deployments, collaboration across geographies, and a commitment to quality in complex insurance engagements with across-the-board exposure

Qualifications

• Deep experience in BillingCenter and working knowledge on PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and ContactManager.
• Proficient with GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework, and Guidewire Web Services.
• Strong XML & JSON knowledge; familiar with ANT, MAVEN, Gradle.
• Experience with SOAP UI, Postman; SVN & GIT version control.
• Understanding of DevOps and build/deploy processes.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• English oral and written proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support BillingCenter configuration tasks across insurance app enhancements.
• Participate in BillingCenter development: defect analysis, code updates, features.
• Collaborate on Guidewire integrations connecting BillingCenter with other apps.
• Review requirements and translate to config and development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Guidewire BillingCenter configuration tasks across insurance application enhancement and support work
• Participating in software development activities for BillingCenter functionality, including defect analysis, code updates, and feature adjustments
• Collaborating on Guidewire integrations and system development efforts that connect BillingCenter with surrounding applications
• Reviewing technical requirements and translating them into workable configuration and development tasks
• Assisting with problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for deployed Guidewire solutions
• Using software development methodology and digital tooling to complete assigned work and track progress
• Contributing to testing activities, documentation updates, and release readiness for BillingCenter changes
• Applying AI fluency and AI-human collaboration concepts to streamline repetitive development and support tasks

What You Must Have

• Deep experience in BillingCenter and working knowledge on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and ContactManager;
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework and Guidewire Web Services;
• Good Knowledge on XML & JSON formats and ANT, MAVEN, Gradle scripts;
• Experience using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman and working with code repositories such as SVN & GIT;
• Understanding of devops and build/deployment processes.
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 1-3 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Demonstrates abilities and extensive Application Managed Service projects and solutioning the Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS, with proven success executing all aspects of complex engagements within the Guidewire product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery, as well as the following:
• Demonstrates abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES, formerly AMS) delivery as a Senior Guidewire Developer Developer. Employees in the Senior Developer position should think of themselves and be regarded by the client as a trusted advisor and think strategically about how to create value using the Guidewire Suite of products;
• Demonstrates abilities delivering Guidewire application solutions as it will be critical that consultant in this position are capable of navigating both business processes as well as enterprise solution perspectives at high level and holistic view;
• Demonstrates abilities developing a scalable and robust Guidewire Solution Strategies in a hybrid IT landscape (on premises and Cloud);
• Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success in developing independently new market-differentiated Guidewire solutions and supporting proposal development efforts; Senior Developer in these positions should be capable of delivering Advisory-level work and be able to discuss future enhancements in Guidewire roadmap discussions with the client;
• With a focus on AES, demonstrates expert abilities assisting clients in the support of Guidewire Suite solutions and improving business processes; and taking a proactive approach to quality;
• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
