Job summary

Bridgestone - Global Capability Center is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead test automation across AEM applications. You will design automation strategies, build scalable frameworks with Selenium and Cypress, and ensure quality through UI and API tests.

The role requires strong collaboration with developers, product managers, and DevOps, plus expertise in CI/CD integration, cross‑browser/mobile testing, and performance/security validation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA automation experience with Selenium or Cypress.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation.
• Experience API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based testing.
• Hands-on with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6).

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA engineer with expertise in Selenium/ Cypress, and automation frameworks to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications. The ideal candidate will drive test automation strategies, implement scalable automation frameworks, and follow QA best practices to deliver high‑quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Automation Development

• Define and implement QA automation strategies for APIs, and integrations.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium & Cypress.
• Develop, execute, and optimize end‑to‑end UI and API automation test scripts.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Quality Assurance & Best Practices

• Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Implement cross‑browser testing, mobile testing, and visual validation.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to improve quality processes.
• Establish QA metrics, reporting, and test dashboards.

CI/CD & Test Automation Integration

• Implement test automation in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Drive shift‑left testing by integrating automation early in the development cycle.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in sprint planning, and drive QA excellence.
• Identify and resolve testing bottlenecks, flaky tests, and automation gaps.
