Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Pune with 6-8 years of experience in software testing and automation. You will design and maintain automated scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright, while building robust API tests with Rest Assured and Postman.

You will drive automation framework enhancements, perform comprehensive testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with development and QA teams, plus mentoring, are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Playwright automation framework.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of SQL and database validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
