Job summary

ValueLabs is seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and RestAssured. You will drive in-sprint automation strategies, integrate tests into Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines, and oversee API/UI/regression/smoke testing for performance and coverage.

You will also implement real-time test reporting, lead load testing with JMeter, and support multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on test automation with Selenium and Java (Page Object Model, TestNG, Maven).
• 5+ years API automation with RestAssured (JSON/XML validation, auth, CI/CD integration).
• Strong API testing knowledge: RESTful services, OAuth2, JWT, Postman.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Experience with test reporting dashboards: Extent Reports, Allure, Power BI.
• Hands-on with JMeter for performance/load testing.
• Solid knowledge of Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with in-sprint testing and continuous delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) and RestAssured.
• Lead in-sprint automation strategies to enable continuous validation within agile sprints.
• Integrate automated tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD for seamless pipelines.
• Develop and execute API, UI, regression, and smoke tests focusing on performance and coverage.
• Implement automated test reporting via Extent Reports, Allure, or dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Automate load and performance testing using JMeter within automation workflows.
• Support multi-cloud testing (AWS, Azure, GCP) across QA, staging, prod, and sandbox environments.
• Ensure test data management, environment config, and script versioning via Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and promote best practices in test design and framework maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve coverage and release timelines.
• Provide technical guidance on automation strategy, tool selection, and framework evolution.
