Job summary

InfoBeans is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable test automation solutions. The role blends automation and manual testing expertise with hands-on Selenium, API testing, and CI/CD.

You will work closely with developers, BAs, and QA teams in an Agile environment to ensure product quality and drive testing efficiency across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong understanding of Manual Testing and software testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Page Object Model (POM).
  • Experience developing or working with Hybrid Automation Frameworks.
  • Experience with Data-Driven Testing / Data-Driven Frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in API Testing using REST Assured.
  • Experience integrating automation suites with Jenkins / CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and version control.
  • Good understanding of Functional and Regression Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
  • Good defect management, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using POM, Hybrid, and Data-Driven approaches.
  • Create reusable automation components and utilities to improve test coverage, stability, and maintainability.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
  • Design and execute API test cases and automation using REST Assured.
  • Integrate automated test suites with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
  • Use Git for source code management, branching, merging, and version control.
  • Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and troubleshoot application and test script issues.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, automation scripts, and relevant QA documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other QA engineers to ensure product quality.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to improving test automation coverage, framework reliability, execution efficiency, and overall QA processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities and continuously improve the team's quality engineering practices.
