Aptiv in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced embedded software architect for automotive domains.

You will design and lead embedded C development for 16/32-bit MCUs, Autosar workflows, and multi-core systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecture and design of automotive SW components.
• Hands-on embedded SW development in automotive using C for 16/32-bit MCUs.
• Proficient in Autosar workflows and vehicle communication protocols (CAN/LIN/24xx/Ethernet).
• Knowledge of security aspects in vehicle connectivity and ISO 26262 context.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design automotive SW components.
• Lead technical direction and mentor cross-cultural teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AUTOSAR-based solutions.

Your Background Required Technical Skiils

Hands on experience in Architecture and designing of SW components in Automotive. Exp level - 12yrs to 18yrs Hands on Experience in embedded SW development using C for 16/32-bit micros – Infineon, NXP, etc. Playing Architect role or Tech Lead Role. Hands on experience in cross compilers, OS, debuggers/emulators Hands on experience in device driver development Hands on experience in Autosar methodologies and workflows Hands on experience in, Power Mode, UDS, Diagnostics, Bootloader, communication protocols – CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet & tools for the same like CANalyzer, CANoe etc Experience in Verification tools- Static analysis tools, Unit Testing tools Hands on experience in handling measurement tools like Oscilloscope, Current probe, Signal generators etc Hands on experience in multi core and multi domain systems Experience in different security aspects of Vehicle Connectivity Exposure to Automotive standard processes-CMM/ASPICE Functional safety ISO 26262 overview Soft Skills Good Communication Skills Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment Optional Skills : Working Experience in Gateway product will be an added advantage Working Experience in BCM will be an added advantage Working Experience in PEPS/PAKM will be an added advantage Working Experience in V2X will be added advantage
