Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based systems (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi).
• Modify PLC logic, ladder programs, and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Handle field instrumentation, sensors, and system integration.
• Maintain PLC backups and technical documentation.
• Attend and resolve electrical and automation breakdowns.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in MTBF and MTTR; support preventive maintenance.
• Lead shop-floor digitalization with paperless systems and digital work instructions.
• Integrate machines, PLCs, and IoT systems for real-time data capture.
• Develop dashboards and KPI tracking (OEE, productivity, quality).
• Support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
• Analyze breakdowns and prepare downtime/performance reports.
• Ensure accurate data logging and traceability.
• Support audits and calibration with suppliers; ensure safety/quality/cybersecurity.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based systems (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi)
• Modify PLC logic, ladder programs, and HMI/SCADA systems
• Handle field instrumentation, sensors, and system integration
• Maintain PLC backups and technical documentation

Maintenance Excellence

• Attend and resolve electrical and automation breakdowns
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Drive improvements in MTBF and MTTR
• Support TPM activities and preventive maintenance

Digital Transformation

• Lead shop‑floor digitalization (paperless systems, e‑logbooks, digital work instructions)

• Develop dashboards and KPI tracking (OEE, productivity, quality)

Performance & Reporting

• Analyze breakdowns and identify improvement opportunities
• Prepare reports on downtime, performance, and maintenance activities
• Ensure accurate data logging and traceability

Compliance & Support

• Support audits (internal and external)
• Coordinate with suppliers for calibration and spares management
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards

Additional Requirements

• Good computer skills (MS Office, MSCIT-level proficiency)
