upGrad is seeking an Academic Counsellor for Offline Learning Centres in Assam to guide prospective learners, assess their career goals, and demonstrate how our programs accelerate their journey.

You will drive enrollments and revenue by nurturing leads, providing consultative counselling, and closing admissions in a highly competitive environment.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in consultative or B2C sales (education industry exposure preferred).
• Strong communication, persuasion and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Empathetic listener with ability to build trust and focus on learner success.
• Comfortable with CRM tools and basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential learners via calls, video sessions, and in-centre meetings to assess goals and recommend programs.
• Drive enrollment and revenue targets by converting leads into admissions.
• Manage the sales lifecycle from first interaction to enrollment and post-sales support.
• Track KPIs such as counselling sessions, conversion rates, and revenue.
• Maintain learner records on CRM and share feedback with Marketing to improve lead quality.
• Collaborate with centre teams to ensure a smooth learner journey and high satisfaction.
