The role requires strong communication, counseling, and CRM skills, with 3-7 years in admissions or education sales and a tendency to lead and coach others, while coordinating with marketing and academic departments to achieve targets and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree (MBA preferred, especially in Marketing or Administration)
• 3-7 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or education sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
• Target-driven with proven sales/conversion track record
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office/Excel, and admission management software
• Leadership and team management ability
• Good understanding of the education sector and admission regulations

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage the annual admission strategy and enrollment targets
• Handle inquiries from prospective students/parents via calls, emails, walk-ins, and online forms; ensure timely follow-up and conversion
• Oversee the complete admission cycle - counseling, documentation, fee collection, and enrollment confirmation
• Lead, train, and monitor the performance of admission counselors/executives
• Organize and participate in open houses, education fairs, school/college visits, and other outreach events
• Coordinate with the marketing team to plan admission campaigns, digital promotions, and lead generation activities
• Maintain and analyze admission data/MIS reports (inquiry-to-admission ratio, source-wise conversion, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulatory norms, and accreditation requirements
• Address parent/student grievances related to admissions professionally and promptly
• Coordinate with academic departments for eligibility criteria, seat availability, and entrance test/interview processes
• Prepare and present periodic admission reports to senior management
