Job summary

Life Educare in Ranchi seeks an Admission Counsellor to engage with prospective students and parents, guiding them through the admission process from inquiry to enrollment. The role requires excellent English and Hindi communication, strong counseling and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks using CRM and MS Office tools.

The position is in-person, with duties including campus tours, open houses, events, and regular follow-ups to ensure timely submission of documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; master's preferred.
• 25 years of experience in admissions, counselling, education, sales, or a related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
• Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/admissions management software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to admission inquiries via phone, email, walk-ins, and other channels.
• Counsel prospective students and parents on programs, facilities, and admissions.
• Schedule and conduct campus tours for prospective families.
• Organize admission events, open houses, and education fairs.
• Guide applicants through the admission process and document submission.
• Review applications and maintain confidentiality of documents.
• Coordinate interviews with prospective students and parents.
• Build relationships with prospective families and provide status updates.
• Maintain admissions records in the CRM and prepare reports on performance.
• Collaborate with Principal, Head of Admissions, Marketing, Academic, and Finance teams.
• Develop and distribute admission materials; engage via social media channels.
• Represent the school professionally at external events and maintain brand image.

Hiring: Admission Counsellor

Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to admission inquiries via phone, email, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding the school's academic programs, facilities, extracurricular activities, and admission process.
• Schedule and conduct campus tours for prospective families, providing a positive and informative experience.
• Organize and participate in admission events, open houses, school presentations, education fairs, and community outreach programs.
• Guide applicants through the complete admission process, ensuring timely submission of all required documents.
• Review applications and supporting documents, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate interviews with prospective students and parents, where applicable.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective families, providing regular follow-ups and application status updates.
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and admissions activities in the admissions database/CRM.
• Prepare periodic reports on admissions performance, conversion rates, and enrollment trends.
• Collaborate with the Principal, Head of Admissions, Marketing, Academic, and Finance teams to ensure a smooth admissions process.
• Develop and distribute admission-related materials, including brochures, newsletters, and information packs.
• Utilize social media and digital communication platforms to engage with prospective students and parents.
• Represent the school professionally at external events and maintain a positive brand image.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• 25 years of experience in admissions, counselling, education, sales, customer relationship management, or a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/admissions management software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in school admissions or the education sector.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
