Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Kolkata, West Bengal invites applications for a permanent Active Directory on Premises administrator. You will administer AD DS, manage users, groups, computers, OUs and GPOs across the domain.

Responsibilities include domain controllers, DNS/DHCP, authentication, backups, disaster recovery, Kerberos/LDAP/NTLM, and PowerShell automation. Immediate notice period; WFO 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Active Directory on-premises.
• Experience administering AD DS, users, groups, OUs and service accounts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) on premises.
• Manage users, groups, computers, OUs, and service accounts.
• Configure and manage Group Policies (GPOs).
• Manage domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and related Windows Server services.
• Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets, and access management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AD replication, authentication, and DNS issues.
• Support Active Directory migrations and domain upgrades.
• Implement AD security best practices and privileged access controls.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine AD tasks.
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures.

• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities for Active Directory.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine AD administration and reporting tasks.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server and domain connectivity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure records.
