Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an Active Directory Expert for Noida to manage AD infrastructure, directory services, and hybrid environments. The role requires 7-9 years of experience and strong scripting skills, with a focus on AD, DNS, GPOs, and Azure AD integration.

The candidate will handle domain trusts, replication topology, and administration across on-premises and cloud services, ensuring security and reliability. This is an on-site Noida opportunity with a senior-level focus.

Qualifications

• Well Versed with Active Directory domain trusts creation and troubleshooting.
• Creation and management of directory infrastructure : Includes FSMO roles, trusts, Kerberos, KDCs, replication topology, etc.
• Hands on experience to install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, administer and resolve problems with Microsoft Active Directory 2008 and 2012.
• Experience in Azure Active Directory and O365.
• Operations and maintenance activities for multiple networks, server maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of active directory concepts and configuration-security groups, inherited rights, delegation, OU structure, object types and attributes.
• Should be able to build simple-complex scripts in PowerShell (v3.0 - v5.0).
• Monitor and reporting associated with the reliability and security of the domain.
• Have a thorough understanding of DNS configurations and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of configuring & troubleshooting Windows server update services (WSUS).
• Have a general understanding of how Active Directory permissions delegation works as well permission inheritance within Active Directory.
• Knowledge of DFS/DFSR technologies.
• Have a general understanding of OS layer infrastructure requirements and troubleshooting such as patching, KMS activation, RDP licensing, time keeping for Microsoft clients.
• Provide excellent customer service to individual clients and to other team members
