Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in India (Delhi) is seeking a seasoned Active Directory Administrator for on-premises AD DS management. The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience and will focus on user and group administration, GPOs, domain controllers, DNS/DHCP, and security policies.

You will automate routine tasks with PowerShell, monitor replication, perform backups, and maintain documentation. WFO 5 days a week in a strict on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Active Directory administration.
• On-premises AD DS environment management.
• Experience configuring GPOs and managing domain controllers.
• Knowledge of Kerberos, LDAP and NTLM authentication.
• Familiarity with DNS and DHCP services in Windows Server.
• Hands-on with AD replication, backups and recovery.
• Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in an on-premises environment.
• Manage users, groups, computers, OUs, and service accounts.
• Configure and manage Group Policies (GPOs) across the Windows domain.
• Manage domain controllers, replication, DNS, DHCP, and related Windows Server services.
• Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets, account unlocks, and access management.
• Manage security groups, distribution groups, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AD replication, authentication, DNS, and domain-related issues.
• Support Active Directory migrations, domain upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Implement AD security best practices, privileged access controls, and audit policies.
• Manage Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, and Windows authentication mechanisms.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities for Active Directory.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine AD administration and reporting tasks.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server and domain connectivity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure records.
