Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in India is seeking an Active Directory Administrator for on-premises AD DS management in Hyderabad. Immediate notice period and WFO 5 days a week. You will administer AD DS, manage users/groups/OUs, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and domain controllers with PowerShell automation.

The role requires 2+ years of AD experience and strong focus on security groups, Kerberos/LDAP/NTLM authentication, and infrastructure maintenance.

• Experience administering AD DS and related Windows Server services.
• Proficient with PowerShell automation for routine AD tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) on-premises.
• Manage users, groups, computers, OUs, and service accounts.
• Configure and manage Group Policy (GPOs) across the domain.
• Maintain domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and replication.
• Handle user provisioning, password resets, and access control.
• Monitor AD replication and domain connectivity issues.
• Perform AD migrations, domain upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Implement AD security best practices and privileged access controls.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine AD administration tasks.
• Document procedures and maintain infrastructure records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in an on-premises environment.

• Configure and manage Group Policies (GPOs) across the Windows domain.
• Manage domain controllers, replication, DNS, DHCP, and related Windows Server services.
• Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets, account unlocks, and access management.
• Manage security groups, distribution groups, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AD replication, authentication, DNS, and domain-related issues.
• Support Active Directory migrations, domain upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Implement AD security best practices, privileged access controls, and audit policies.
• Manage Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, and Windows authentication mechanisms.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities for Active Directory.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine AD administration and reporting tasks.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server and domain connectivity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure records.
