TeamLease is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to manage end-to-end AR and revenue accounting, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. The role requires accurate recording of revenue, receivables, and related entries, ensuring compliance with policies.

Accounts Receivable
Responsible for end-to-end Accounts Receivable and revenue accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue and receivables, reconciliations, month-end book closure, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Perform bank reconciliations and pass necessary accounting entries.
Investigate and resolve unreconciled items and ensure timely clearance.
Record and account for sales invoices accurately and on a timely basis.
Ensure appropriate customer, revenue and tax accounting.
Review and resolve invoice-related accounting discrepancies.
Perform revenue recognition accounting in accordance with applicable Ind AS/accounting policies.
Ensure revenue is recognised in the appropriate accounting period.
Posting of revenue-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
Post salary-related journal entries and ensure accurate accounting of employee costs.
Perform periodic reconciliation of related party balances and transactions.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve differences.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of related party accounting and reporting.
Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable balances and customer ledgers.
Prepare and review periodic AR ageing reports.
Analyse outstanding balances and identify long-outstanding/unreconciled items.
Coordinate with relevant teams for resolution of open items.
Ensure timely and accurate closure of books of accounts.
Complete month-end accounting activities, reconciliations and necessary journal entries within defined timelines.
Identify and resolve outstanding accounting issues impacting closure.
Record and account for investment transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Ensure accurate accounting of investment income, valuation/amortisation and related transactions, as applicable.
Record other income transactions.
Ensure appropriate recognition, classification and accounting of income in the correct period.
Provide schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents and explanations required for statutory audits.
Coordinate with auditors for resolution of audit queries.
Ensure timely closure of audit requirements relating to AR, revenue and other assigned areas.
