Job summary

abglobal in Pune, India, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to process invoices and travel expenses, ensuring accurate and timely payments in line with SOPs. You will support training, maintain quality metrics, and manage workload within approved authority.

The role requires clear communication with Finance and other business areas, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable processes such as Invoice Processing and Travel & Expense Management.
• Strong communication skills with Finance and other business areas.
• Ability to train, guide, and share process notes with team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure authorized vendor/employee payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Demonstrate responsibility for processing/customer calls, training, and delivering performance as per SOPs.
• Maintain productivity and quality targets; meet service delivery parameters.
• Apply strong knowledge of AP processes and manage work volumes within authority levels.

Operational Responsibilities

• The primary function of the Accounts Payable Department is to ensure that all authorized vendor/employee reimbursement payments are paid out and reported accurately in line with the Standard Operating Procedures as agreed with the client.
• The candidate must be able to demonstrate responsibility for processing / handling of customer calls training and delivering performance and quality as set for given process.
• Ensure productivity & quality targets are achieved consistently and meet all critical service delivery parameters.
• To demonstrate strong theoretical and practical knowledge on technical support and managing work volumes within agreed authority levels
• Proactively manage work volumes and maintain agreed accuracy
• Proactively manage work volumes within agreed authority levels in compliance with company policy.
• Develop good relationships with team members.
