Madurai Famous Jigarthanda is seeking a seasoned Finance & Accounts leader to steer financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the company in Madurai. You will oversee P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and statutory compliance, ensuring robust internal controls and timely MIS for management.

The role requires 10-15 years in finance with senior leadership experience in manufacturing/ FMCG sectors and hands-on expertise with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel-based analytics.

Qualifications

• CMA preferred; CMA/CA progress considered.
• MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ICWA or equivalent qualification.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the company.
• Monitor company performance, profitability, and financial risks.
• Manage the complete Finance & Accounts function.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking, and fund requirements.
• Control costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
• Ensure proper internal financial controls and prevent financial irregularities.
• Review payroll, statutory deductions, and employee-related financial matters.
• Monitor customer outstanding, collections, vendor payments, and ageing reports.
• Manage inventory valuation, fixed assets, and stock reconciliation.
• Handle banking facilities, loans, working capital, bank guarantees, and financial documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
• Lead, guide, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

Qualifications

• CMA Preferred
• MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ICWA or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Retail, or Distribution is preferred.
