Job summary

Venus Precious Metals Refinery is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable, taxation and statutory compliance, bank and ledger reconciliations, budgeting and financial analysis, and payroll and expense management, with a focus on accuracy and cost-control. Strong accuracy and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining financial records and preparing reports.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory returns.
• Familiarity with audits and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and payments; reconcile accounts.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and GL analysis.
• Assist budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage the organization's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, and support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Generate customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts on a regular basis.
• Follow up on pending payments and resolve payment discrepancies.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance.

Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure timely resolution of accounting issues and unreconciled items.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and prepare variance reports.
• Support management with financial insights and cost-control recommendations.

Payroll & Expense Management

• Assist in payroll processing and salary reconciliation.
• Verify employee reimbursements and business expenses.
• Ensure accurate accounting of payroll-related statutory deductions.
