Job summary

Piersight group is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage the complete procure-to-pay cycle, including PO issuance, shipment, customs clearance, inventory receipt, supplier payments, and accounting reconciliation.

The role demands strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Ind AS, and landed-cost calculation, with hands-on experience in ERPNext or Zoho Books. 1–3 years of related work in accounting or procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent qualification in commerce/finance with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with accounting, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or import/export is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, inventory accounting, customs documentation, and landed-cost calculation.
• Exposure to ERPNext, Zoho Books, or similar ERP/accounting software is desirable.
• Strong MS Excel skills, reconciliation accuracy, and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete procure-to-pay cycle from PO to payment and reconciliation.
• Handle import/export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, AWB/BL, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, and Origin Certificate.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, banks, and suppliers.
• Track shipments, customs clearance, duties, and logistics costs.
• Enter GRN and Purchase Receipts in ERP systems and ensure accurate vendor ledgers.
• Perform 3-way matching of PO–GRN–Invoice and verify invoices.
• Calculate and allocate landed costs (freight, duties, insurance, CHA, etc.).
• Ensure inventory valuation and accounting entries in ERP.
• Handle vendor payments, advances, bank reconciliation, and expense booking.
• Manage GST, TDS, GSTR-2B reconciliation and audit documentation.
• Reconcile inventory, purchase receipts, invoices, vendor balances, and General Ledger.
• Maintain records in ERPNext / Zoho Books / similar ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on order confirmation, delivery schedules, Proforma Invoices, and dispatch.
• Handle import/export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, AWB/BL, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, and Certificate of Origin.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA/customs brokers, courier companies, banks, and suppliers.
• Track shipments, customs clearance, duties, freight, and other logistics costs.
• Coordinate material receipt and ensure proper GRN / Purchase Receipt entry in ERP.
• Verify supplier invoices using PO–GRN–Invoice three-way matching.
• Calculate and allocate landed cost, including freight, customs duty, insurance, CHA, and other applicable charges.
• Ensure correct inventory valuation and accounting entries in ERP.
• Handle vendor payments, advances, bank reconciliation, expense booking, and vendor ledgers.
• Manage GST, TDS, invoice verification, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and audit documentation.
• Reconcile inventory, purchase receipts, purchase invoices, vendor balances, and General Ledger.
• Maintain procurement, inventory, payment, shipment, and accounting records in ERPNext / Zoho Books / similar ERP systems.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance/Semi-qualified CA/B.tech.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or import/export.
• Good knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, inventory accounting, customs documentation, and landed-cost calculation.
• Experience with ERPNext, Zoho Books, or similar ERP/accounting software.
• Strong MS Excel, reconciliation, and documentation skills.

Experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, electronics, engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology companies will be preferred.
