Job summary

Pluugin Ecommerce in Delhi NCR is seeking an experienced finance leader to head the ecommerce accounting and finance functions. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, ensure timely financial reporting, and maintain internal controls to support scalable growth.

The role requires a Chartered Accountant or CA/ICWA preferred, 12+ years in accounting with supervisory experience, and strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Advanced MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and finance for the ecommerce division.
• Coordinate financial reporting and internal controls.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, GL, taxes and GST.
• Assist with audits and funding strategy development.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows and balance sheets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and principles.

Job Description:

Location : India Delhi NCR

(Note):- Please Apply only with E commerce Experience.

• Will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting and finance department for the company's e-commerce division.
• Will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, maintain proper internal controls, and provide financial guidance and support for business decision making.
• Managing e-commerce accounting, including reconciling transactions and booking invoices for commission, shipping, and marketing expenses.
• Handling marketplace reconciliation, including reconciling transactions and checking all the expenses like commission, shipping, and marketing expenses on marketplaces like Flipkart and Amazon etc.
• Responsible for day-to-day oversight of the companies' tax affairs and compliance including new tax requirements and jurisdictions
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes and GST.
• Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage general ledger accounting functions
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
• Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
• Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
• Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations
• Analyses revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
• Assists management to make financial decisions.
• Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
• Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.

Requirements And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CA / ICWA will be preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases Knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
