Inveris Solutions LLP is hiring a Finance Executive for an e-commerce distributor in Bengaluru. The role focuses on P&L management, revenue analysis, and financial reporting to support high-volume operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in finance roles within e-commerce, strong Excel skills, and the ability to deliver data-driven insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.
• Mandatory: Prior experience working in an E-commerce company/business.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce business operations and financial metrics.
• Experience with marketplace sales, settlements, reconciliations, payment collections, commissions, returns, or e-commerce P&L will be preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CA Inter / CMA qualification or candidates pursuing CA/CMA will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of P&L, revenue, margins, cash flow, working capital, and financial reporting.
• Good command of MS Excel/Google Sheets and MIS reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage large volumes of financial data, and operate effectively in a fast-moving business environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor P&L, revenue, costs, margins, and profitability for e-commerce operations.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, dashboards, and management reports.
• Handle marketplace, bank, ledger, receivables, and payables reconciliations.
• Track sales, collections, cash flow, working capital, and business performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance across products, marketplaces, channels, and business segments.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, margin improvement, and process efficiency.
• Work with business and operations teams to understand financial impact and provide data-driven insights.
• Maintain accurate financial data and ensure timely reporting in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

We are hiring a Finance Executive on behalf of one of our clients, a rapidly growing E-commerce distributor based in Bengaluru. The company works with global consumer brands to launch, operate, and scale e-commerce businesses across Asia. With operations across multiple markets and channels, the business manages marketplaces, pricing, distribution, logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment. We are looking for a finance professional who understands the e-commerce business model and can work closely with dynamic, high-volume business operations.

Important: Candidates must have prior finance/accounting experience in an e-commerce business.
