Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based at Cardinal Warriors School in Raipur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking fee collections, processing vendor payments, and managing petty cash. The role will also involve preparing monthly and annual financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with school policies and relevant accounting standards. The Accountant will coordinate with administration and management to support audits, maintain accurate financial records, and implement efficient financial controls.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills in bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of basic taxation, invoicing, and compliance with relevant financial regulations for educational institutions.
