Job summary

AutoSphere LLP, a premier authorized TVS dealership in Hyderabad, seeks an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, and tax filings. Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime is mandatory, with a focus on GST, PF, and professional tax compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an automobile dealership, and a strong eye for detail. Excellent MS Excel skills and accuracy are essential for month-end closings and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Commerce or related field required; MBA Finance a plus.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, preferably in auto dealership.
• Must be proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
• Strong GST, PF and Professional Tax knowledge required.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Accounting & Bookkeeping: generate Tally invoices and record purchases.
• Bank Reconciliation: reconcile bank statements with records.
• Vendor Payments: process payments to vendors and maintain payables.
• Payroll & Employee Benefits: process salaries and incentives.
• GST Filing & Taxation: prepare GST returns and handle PF/Professional Tax.

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our daily financial operations.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to oversee our end-to-end accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, strict attention to detail, and mandatory proficiency in Tally software. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day entries, payroll compliance, tax filings, and ensuring the financial health of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

The Dealership Accountant will be responsible for the following core duties:

Day-to-Day Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Tally Sales Tax Invoice: Accurately generate and manage all sales tax invoices through Tally.
• Purchase Entries: Record all vehicle, spare parts, and general purchase & service entries systematically.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records match bank statements.
• Customer Ledger Closing: Manage and close customer ledgers accurately and efficiently.
• TR Payments: Process and reconcile TR (Temporary Registration) payments and related RTO charges.

Payables, Receivables & Claims

• Vendor Payments: Process timely payments to all vendors and maintain updated payable accounts.
• Finance Receivables: Track and reconcile finance receivables from banks and third-party vehicle financiers (e.g., TVS Credit, IDFC, etc.).
• Claims Related: Manage accounting and reconciliation for all warranty, insurance, and company-related claims.

Payroll & Employee Benefits

• Salaries: Process monthly employee salaries accurately and on time.
• Incentives: Calculate and disburse sales and service incentives based on dealership performance metrics.
• PF (Provident Fund): Manage deductions, records, and timely remittance of employee PF.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• GST Filing: Prepare data and ensure accurate, timely filing of monthly GST returns.
• Professional Tax: Calculate, deduct, and remit Professional Tax in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com / MBA Finance is a plus).
• Software Proficiency: Mandatory expertise in Tally (Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime).
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience. Prior experience in an automobile/two-wheeler dealership is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of GST, PF, and Professional tax regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle high-volume transactions, especially during month-end closing.
