Job summary

Biogrow Substrates in Tamil Nadu is seeking an Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting, costing and pricing to support its manufacturing operations. You will maintain accounts, prepare product and shipment-cost sheets, analyze margins and assist in pricing decisions while coordinating with Purchase, Production, Sales and Logistics teams.

The role requires solid Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting software, with 1–5 years in manufacturing finance being preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / master in finance or related field with strong hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing costing and GST/TDS accounting is preferred.
• Freshers with good knowledge of accounting, manufacturing costing, product costing, GST/TDS, Excel or ERP software are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ledger activities.
• Prepare product-wise and shipment-wise cost sheets.
• Calculate raw material, labour, production, packing, freight and other costs.
• Prepare selling prices based on cost and required profit margins.
• Analyse actual vs. estimated costs and identify variations.
• Monitor product profitability and margins.
• Support sales and management teams with quotations and pricing calculations.
• Maintain inventory costing and stock valuation.
• Prepare costing and profitability reports for management.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Sales and Logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits and statutory requirements.

Experience

• 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts is preferred.


• Strong experience in manufacturing accounting and product costing is preferred.


• Experience with ERP / accounting software is an advantage.


• Freshers with good knowledge of accounting, manufacturing costing, product costing, GST/TDS, Excel or ERP/accounting software are also welcome to apply.
